All Dowsil silicone sealants sold by Univar Specialty Consumables are non-staining.
By their make up silicone sealants are non-staining. Sealants are designed to prevent chemicals and water from getting in or out of areas so they resist most chemicals and liquids and will not stain due to contact with these substances. This is true for all Dowsil silicone sealants in the Univar Specialty Consumables range.
NOTE: The black mould found in bathroom areas is not classed as staining and is a mould that is on the surface of the silicone. It is almost impossible to prevent this from occurring in a bathroom, shower room environment.
